Cloud

The cloud offer gives you a Mankomail instance operated for you: no server, database or storage to run yourself.

The same product as self-hosting

A cloud instance runs the same product as the self-hosted version, with the same features: connected mailboxes and the mirror, workflows, AI nodes, integrations, Tables, review and approvals, the analyzer and the webmail. Everything in this documentation applies to both, except the pages about installing and operating an instance yourself.

One isolated instance per customer

Each customer organisation gets its own instance. Nothing is shared at the application level between two customers:

  • its own application container;
  • its own PostgreSQL database and database role;
  • its own object storage bucket, with keys that open only that bucket;
  • its own encryption key for stored secrets;
  • its own subdomain.

Within the instance, the organisation works exactly as on a self-hosted installation: members, administrators, the Administration area, scope and node policy.

Hosting location

Cloud instances and their object storage are hosted in France.

Operations

The Mankomail team provisions the instance, applies updates, monitors it and backs it up. Your administrators keep the same responsibilities as on any instance: members, connections to your mail provider, AI providers and governance rules.

Connecting your mailboxes

As on a self-hosted instance, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes connect through your organisation's own OAuth application, registered by an administrator in Administration › OAuth applications. See Google and Microsoft. IMAP mailboxes need no application: see IMAP.

Self-hosted or cloud

Choose self-hosting when you want the data to stay on your own infrastructure, or need full control over the environment: see Self-hosting. Choose the cloud when you would rather not operate servers.

This documentation does not cover cloud plans or pricing.
